There is no such thing as "Now"

Studying this morning in "Thou Shall Prosper", I just learned that the Hebrew language (the Jewish holy language of God) does not have a word for existing in the present, so that a rabbi might be led to believe that the actual "now" is intangible, non-existent, not real.

But I think Rabbi Daniel Lapin made a good point. There is such thing as that which was, and that which will be, but the concept of that which "is" is so intangible that it should not be our focus. How can we embrace change if we truly believe that it is possible to keep things the same?

First step is to throw "now" out and figure out what to toss from our past and what to make happen in our future. Every breath is in its own moment, and the previous breath is the past before the next one begins.

Therefore, let that which is to remain constant be constant, but let that which God intends to change be changed. Just another way to look at life. Have a great day!
