Life or Death?

The LORD alone can bring Life, yet there are religions which teach similar truths yet lead to death. I had someone look me in the eyes with all conviction last night and tell me that all Muslims are promised to go to Heaven but they'll have to pay for their crimes when they get there. And that before the "end" that all Muslims will have to fight all Jews, and that is an "unfortunate fact". A sick person walked in and my spirit was like, "LORD, should I lay hands on him and You heal him so that Jesus can get the glory?" But as I was about to ask the sick man if he would like prayer he started telling me the most outlandish doctrine about Jesus that I had ever heard. Truly, I felt the presence of demonic influence in that place and I left. I pray that in time I will be able to return and share the truth with the other man.

What great deception is left to those who do not have a relationship with the LORD Jesus Christ! 100% man, 100% God, yet He performed many miracles and taught of His Christ-hood during His lifetime. He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no man cometh to the Father but by me." Therefore, any religion teaching that Jesus was a prophet and a good man yet denies that His teaching about His messiah-ship is true is saying that it is okay for a man to lie to all of his followers about the only way to get to God the Father or to see Heaven at all. That's the way the enemy works. As long as he can distract us from getting to God altogether, he doesn't care how much "wisdom" we have. That is why the Bible teaches us, "There is a way that seemeth good to a man, but the end thereof is death." The Bible doesn't teach us that we have to kill others but it teaches us to be willing to die for others just like Christ did. Maybe that's why the world perceives it as weak. But the reason is because the God that we serve is so grand and so amazing in truth that He not only promises us great happiness after we die but we get to see His glory during our lifetime.

God sends to His people apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. He uses His people to perform miracles through by His Spirit. He raises people from the dead, heals the sick, and saves the lost. God can make a completely insane person become level-headed and at peace. It is in the Name of Jesus that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Is LORD. Jesus Christ has authority over Satan himself, having rebuked him openly while on earth. When the crucifixion took place, Jesus Christ took the keys from hell and the grave and now we are able to be saved by looking to that very same cross and believing in Christ as our Savior. Walking with God is a promise to have peace that passes all understanding. Many Jews who do not believe in the Christ bear a burden of religion yet do not have the same peace. They are not waiting to become Christians. They need to be introduced to the Messiah and baptized in the Holy Spirit so that they can be able to see the Kingdom of God. In fact, all of mankind needs to meet the Son of God so that they can indeed see the Kingdom of God and be made whole therein.

Father, I pray that You will save the lost even as You promised. Thank You for Your revelation and Your grace. Thank You for saving us. God we love You in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Pesky Depression!

Pesky depression. Always tryin' to show up at the most inopportune times. Anybody ever have that happen? Suddenly, you get alone, and you think about everything that you have no control over? That's Wack. I bind depression in Jesus' Name. I declare that God is LORD over all of my life and that He Alone Is my refuge and salvation and strength and my song. As far as my imperfections, I already know. The imperfections of those I love, God knows. I lay them at the altar. Perfect love casts out fear, fear hath torment, unforgiveness invites torment, and so I forgive everyone that has hurt me and ask for forgiveness from God also. Is there another way to deal with depression besides to take a counter-attack on it just like this???
